If he's the active type, why not send him on a special day out? There are all sorts of activities to choose from, such as driving a sports car on a racetrack, rock climbing, ballooning, paintball - you name it! Most events will allow you to tag along to record the day with your camera. Or why not sign up as well to share the experience!

What's his favourite sport? Is he a player or just a watcher? Get him fitter with some sports equipment. What about some gym equipment for home? Or perhaps he's always wanted a snooker table.

Of course he'll need to be properly kitted out for his new sporty lifestyle, so get him some proper sportswear. He's more likely to stick with it if he looks the part!

Or perhaps it's more of a casual thing? What about getting his favourite team's shirt so he can support them in style?

If he's a bit more adventurous, what about some camping or hiking gear?
